General Meetings

We have monthly meetings that are open to everyone - guests are welcome! The meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the second Wednesday of each month at the Proctor Terrace Elementary School (located at the corner of Bryden and Grosse Streets - just off of Fourth Street) in Santa Rosa. 

The meetings include lectures, demonstrations, slide presentations, movies, and video tapes of astronomy, space sciences, and related subjects.

Young Astronomers Group Meetings

We also have a special group called the Young Astronomers especially for our younger members. Every year the Sonoma County Astronomical Society awards ten telescopes to the area students who write the best essays explaining why they want a telescope.
