Who We Are
The purpose of the Sonoma County Young Astronomers is to provide a place for youngsters in Sonoma County who are interested in astronomy to get together with other Young Astronomers and to hear presentations geared to a younger audience. The YA have their own officers, elected by the group. We are located in Sonoma Country, California.

Monthly Meetings
We have monthly meetings that are open to everyone - guests are welcome! Please
note the new meeting dates. The
meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the second Friday of each month.
Meetings are held at the Apple
Blossom Elementary School which is located at 700 Watertrough Road in

The meetings include lectures, demonstrations, slide presentations, movies, and
video tapes of astronomy, space sciences, and related subjects.
